Visit Asfinag April 2019

The Austrian tunnel organisation Asfinag has renovated a large number of tunnels in a short period of time. This successful approach is very interesting for all parties in the Netherlands and Flanders who have to carry out major renovation programs and face the same challenges. April 17 and 18 2019, experts from Asfinag visted the COB to share their knowledge.

The two-day visit was divided into four sections. Each section consisted of a plenary session on a theme and then parallel sessions with the Austrian experts. In those parallel sessions, the participants could talk about the plenary theme, or delve into the specialty of the chosen expert.
