International Conference Underground Constructions Prague 2010

Reflection of the experience in the world and in Europe of preparing and implementing road, rail and city underground constructions, especially TBM tunnelling and long rail tunnel construction. The Czech ITA-AITES Tunnelling Association has the honour to invite you to the 11th International Conference “Underground Constructions Prague 2010” to be held on 14th to 16th June 2010 in the capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague. The Conference is co-organised by the Slovak ITA-AITES Tunnelling Association. The preliminary programme includes two days of meetings in sections and a specialised exhibition and posters. A field trip to a tunnel construction site is planned for the morning of the third day. We would like the conference to reflect the experience in the world and in Europe of preparing and implementing road, rail and city underground constructions, especially TBM tunnelling and long rail tunnel construction. The conference programme will certainly reflect the increase in the number of tunnel construction in the Czech and Slovak Republics. There are several such projects either in preparation or under way in the Czech Republic, namely: a 24 km long rail tunnel linking Beroun with Prague, several new stages of the Prague Metro underground system and tunnel constructions that are a part of the Prague main road system.
